It’s Netflix’s world and we are just living in it. Apart from just being a video content streaming giant, Netflix is also a supreme producer of content. The prevalence is massive, so much so that it has come up with its own Netflix Originals.

The Gray Man | Netflix Originals
The first on the list of best Netflix original movies is its most expensive Netflix original in history is on its way. With a whopping budget of $200 million with which it surpasses that of the reigning The Red Notice.
The movie falls in the action thriller genre, helmed by the Avengers fame Russo Brothers, Anthony and Joe Russo. An ensemble cast of great actors, a compelling story and top technicians and creators behind the camera, it’s one of those Netflix original movies that promises a stellar run.
As if it were not enough of a selling point, the story is about a CIA operative-turned-assassin who evades supernatural and cryptic forces to save his daughters’ lives. Plot twist; the daughters don’t know he exists.
The huge cast, per se and otherwise includes Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Jessica Henwick, Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton and Regé-Jean Page in pivotal roles.
The film is set to release in the spring of 2022.
1899
The sentence “from the creators of Netflix’s Dark” is already a selling point for this one. It’s probably enough to get you onboard in 1899. If it’s not, we get another line to sweep the movie buff in you from its feet. 1899 is an epic period mystery-horror series.
The creators will be using ‘groundbreaking technology’ for creating this ‘Historical horror series set on a boat’
Immigrants from various countries encounter a nightmare while travelling from the old continent to the new, the ship drifts in the open ocean, it could easily be one of the best Netflix original series.
The project’s confirmed cast includes Alexandre Willaume, Emily Beecham, Aneurin Barnard and Anton Lesser.
The Cuphead Show!
The fearless Cuphead’s misadventures with his cautious but easy to manipulate brother Mugman in an animated series. The show is based on a video game that was a hit back in the day.
The American-Canadian series is created by Chad and Jared Moldenhauer. The video game had 2 reputations, its difficulty levels and its aesthetic retrospective of the 1920s.

Lost Ollie | Netflix Originals
A story of a boy and his toy who lost each other. The toy’s journey to the countryside in search of his best friend. Out of all the toys, Billy’s favourite was Oswald, the stuffed rabbit. The rabbit is kidnapped by some nefarious creeps on someone’s orders where he finds other lost toys facing the same problem as him.
Jonathan Groff as Oliie, Kesler Talbot as Billy, Jake Johnson as Daddy, Tim Blake Nelson as Jojo and Gina Rodriguez as Momma.
Rustin
In the list of best Netflix original movies is Rustin. The story is about the late Bayard Rustin, a Gay and Civil rights activitist. He organised the 1963 March on Washington. The film is produced by Higher Ground Productions, founded by former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
He played a pivotal role in organising the 1963 March on Washington they were protesting for jobs and freedom. It is the same march where the famous “ I have a dream” speech was given by Martin Luther King.
The film will be helmed by George C. Wolfe, an Emmy nominee director, and written by Dustin Lance Black, an Academy award winner.
Code 8: Part II
A teenage girl with extraordinary abilities seeks help from two people after she witnesses the brutal murder of her brother and its cover up. The two people are an ex-con and his partner in crime.
They face corrupt police personnels who are covering their own hides and have deployed the most advanced robotic technology.
Directed by Jeff Chan, the film stars Robbie Amell, Stephen Amell, Natalie Lincoti , Aaron Abrams with others.
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Michael Dante DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko and Albert Kim are back with this live – action adaptation of the animated series that has high chances of making it to the likes of best Netflix original series in 2022.
The story is set in Asiatic, where, after waking up from a hundred year sleep, a boy, Aang, learns that he is the only one who has the power to stop the war that has been going on for a century. He is the only one in the world who can ‘bend’ all the four classical elements, water, air, fire and earth.
The show is expected to release in the month of August, next year.
Man vs. Bee | Netflix Originals
There is quirky and then there is this Netflix original series called Man vs. Bee. The story talks about a man who is housesitting a luxurious mansion in London and has to be at war with a Bee while doing so. Who do you think will win the war and what will the mansion look like at the end of it?
Oops! Just forgot to mention the best part, Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) is the man. There are chances of an early release in the next year.
